Check ins for whole church

We're fairly new to Planning Center, we've come from Elvanto, where we manually checked in our members on a Sunday after the service. We use attendance stats to help see maturity and to take care of those who might otherwise fall off our radar.

To me it looks like most churches use check ins just for kids and those serving. I'd love to hear from those of you who use checkins for the whole church. How did people receive the idea (I'm not sure our members will love it) is it do able on a Sunday, when all the late comers arrive at the same time? And any other suggestions! Especially to streamline, as we meet at a school, so want it as simple as possible.
